If I could teleport anywhere, anytime, where would I go?  If I could teleport anywhere anytime, I would go to some cabins that we stayed at when I was a teenager just outside of Toas.  That was so much fun. We went with other families and our brothers by choice. We stayed up all night telling inappropriate jokes and laughing at the grown ups. I'm sure that some of the things we laughed about were how they acted and privately reassuring ourselves that we'd never be 'uncool' like we thought they were. Some days I'd give anything to be a grown up like that. They had it together, good jobs, nice houses, nice cars, and the disposable income to do things like that.  We each have our path, and that is not mine. I don't think that there is anything wrong with wishing you could be on another path from time to time. I think that it might be what drives us to do better, to do more, to try harder...  Just a thought. Thanks for reading Misty )O( Ble...

Today's prompt is too much for me to tackle in a day, so I'll do it when I have more time. For today, I'll do tomorrow's. Fight or flight: when faced with a confrontation do you stay and fight or head for the hills? I have pretty much always chosen flight. Ever since I can remember this is what I was taught to do. My mom got into a huge fight with her sister at an Embassy Suites in San Antonio, we left in the middle of the night. My mom got into a huge fight when we lived with her sister in McAllen Texas, we moved back to Albuquerque. I am sure there are more examples that I cannot think of right now... If there are things that have happened in my past to the opposite, I cannot think of them now. Wait, there is one. My mom was denied an increase on her Sears cad because my dad was behind on payments. My parents were divorced at this time. My mom chewed the hell out of whoever was on the phone with her. Rightfully so, too. So this is an example of fight. So I h...

Draft a post in three parts. They must be connected by one thing, and object, a thought, a theme, etc. Listening to music is one of my favorite ways to pass time. I especially enjoy listening to it on the bus. It seems to make the time pass faster and it generally stops people from talking to me. I sit here with my headphones on and just go away, each song gets me closer to work, which gets me closer to going back home. I like listening to music and just letting my mind go, I come up with some of my best brain storming that way! Tuesdays is free download day on iTunes. Each week there is a song from a new artist that they give out for free. Sometimes get the song and then I get rid of the song after one play, but most times it is something good and ill keep it. My oldest turned me onto this, and now I have it in my calendar to make sure I don't miss a Tuesday! Today is Tuesday and it is time again to get a new song. The last few weeks have been a let down, but I never gi...

You are stuck in an elevator with someone from the past. Who is it, and what do you say? I would be stuck with my younger self. I would not let myself know I was myself. I would ask myself what the hell I'm thinking. I would also warn myself about certain situations and people that, as present me, I believe I could change and would not negatively affect who I am today. Thanks for reading Misty )O( Blessed Be

Write about your name. Are you named after someone? Are there any stories associated with your name? If you could change your name would you? I do not think that I am named after anyone. If I recall, I think that there is a story about how my parents couldn't decide on a name, so my gramma Bishop suggested Misty, but I'll have to get confirmation on that. There is a song called Misty, and a really messed up movie with Clint Eastwood called 'Play Misty For Me'. There is also a book about a horse named Misty. My sister's boyfriends parents sent it back with her for me. That is how I remember the story? There are more than a handful of people who had told me that their dogs are named Misty. Thanks? I would not change my name, I love my name. Even though it is a rather 'hick' name, especially when you say my middle name at the same time... Misty Lynn... Yeah that is rather silly, but it is unique enough that you don't run in to it every day, but I...

If you could switch blogs with any other blogger who would it be and why? Someone that had a lot of followers and makes money at this. Hopefully they would like what I do and those followers would follow me as well, and I could make money too. I write for me, but I would not be opposed to making money at it... Tell us about your journey... Well today I woke up after sleeping like crap, and I forgot to set my Fitbit for sleep, even though I thought I had, maybe it 'wakes up' if to don't stay still after so long? So, I don't even know how crapily I slept. Oh well. Then I got ready to go, nothing unusual there. My walk to the bus stop was nice. I timed each leg, and considering it's Monday, so my bag is extra heavy, and I forgot my walking shoes at work, so I had to walk in my working shoes, I did it in pretty good time. It rained almost a weekend, so the benches at the bus stop have dried mud film, I don't know how else to explain that...so I can't really sit down, but that is ok, other than that I wanted to crochet, but I need to catch up on blogging, so it's ok. Today is going to be a good day because I say so. I might go for a walk at the park again tonight. We saw this neat thing on tv this weekend for this deal that you wet and can wear in differe...
