One good thing…   One day closer to getting my best friend back

Health … I got super suctioned yesterday, awesome, healing well,  tender to breath deep through my nose, it is not used to so much air!

What am I Thankful for today…  That my son has teachers that care enough to let him work around things to go home early when he is ill… That my son has the school - work ethic that he does, even though he is on his death bed, he still went to school today.

One Thing That I Learned Today… my son has a better work ethic than I do!

One Thing That Scares Me… The amount of yard work I want to get done, versus what is getting done…

Craft of the day…  Today I am working on Louise's hat from Bob's Burgers. I am worried that it will not come out well, but my wife will still tell me it's great even if it is not. She is such a liar ;)


Still working on the tree for Julie, but I also started on some "end-of-the-year-gift-giving-time" gifts! Making stuff takes more time and love (gag me with a spoon) than buying stuff!

Do you believe in reincarnation? That is a tough one, but very funny that it is 'assigned' on the anniversary of my first marriage... I think that there are different versions of things all through life, stages. So, there are different stages of relationships, the honeymoon, the comfort zone, and finally, using the toilet with the door open... For example. Why can't there be different phases or stages of life? Once a scrounger, always a scrounger

Robert's last day of freshman year is next a Wednesday, that alone is crazy, but it made me remember something. The last day of my freshman year, I actually wanted to go to school. I said good bye to the teachers I liked, but after that, a friend of mine and I went through the halls, and came upon tons of lockers that people had not bothered to clean out... So there were binders and paper and more all over for the taking. I remember lots of loose leaf paper, and I took home as much as I could carry. Now, was that because I am, at heart, a scrounger? Or was it my love of school and office supplies? When I was in 6th grade, same thing, went to the last day, and came home with 'stuff'. However, this time it was supplies AND art projects people had not taken home, including GIANT dice.
