B+ - Write about what you did this weekend as if you were a music critic writing a review. This weekend, by Misty, is filled with lots of running around. The first track 'Grocery Shopping' is filled with cold cuts and sliced cheeses, with a hint of frozen foods. The second track 'Rental Car' is a sure hit about a maroon Jeep Compass, that while not a purchaser, is certainly a hit, if only because of the AC. This writers favorite track is 'Saturday Morning Walk', with 'No Sunday Morning Walk Because I Wanted To Stay In Bed' is a close second. One of the more popular tracks has to be 'My Love Of Embroidering Left A Dent In My Ring Finger', which discusses the love of a hobby to the point of pain while doing it, but not being able to stop, or even pause to grab a thimble. The bonus track 'Left The Kids In Socorro For A Week' is also pretty good. All in all this is a busy, if not enjoyable weekend, I mean album... Thanks f...

The Natural World Describe your first memorable experience exploring and spending time in nature. Were you in awe? Or were you not impressed? Would you rather spend time in the forest or the city? I have been in nature many times, and I can remember many wonderful times. My favorite memory, and the ones that have stuck with me most are the times that I went to Camp Gallagher in the Jemez mountains as a child. Even now, just thinking about it, and trying to choose which memories to write about, they ALL come back and flood my soul with the happy dance! I can remember fishing in the creek, never catching anything! I remember hiking to the top of the mountain (or a peak in the camp area) to sleep at the top of the mountain, that was the BIG night for each group. I can remember the nightly campfires, where we would sing songs and the camp councilors would do skits for us. I can see the tents in my mind, on pallet like floors. I can smell the inside of the tents. Sounds gross, but it...

We can be taught Tell about a moment or an incident that you treasure - not necessarily because it brought you happiness, but because it taught you something about yourself. I really wish that I had a good entry for this one, but even the day after it is 'due', and having had looked at it for a few days before it was due, I cannot think of anything to write about for this. To be honest, I can't even really wrap my mind around what this prompt wants from me. Trying to write in this rental car, on our way home from taking the kids to New Mexico Tech, I cannot even fathom... I reserve the right to come back to this one, should I have an A-ha! moment. No Longer A Mere Mortal You've imbibed a special potion that makes you immortal. Now that you've got forever, what changes will you make in your life? How will you live life differently, knowing you'll always be around to be accountable for your actions? I guess that I would start to take better care of myself physically. I don't want to end up like Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn in Death Becomes Her! I don't know that I'd do much different, I think that I live my life pretty well. I would be more of an advocate for the environment and my kids and grandkids...maybe that is what I would do with my life? Either way, I don't want to live forever, so... Through The Window Go to the nearest window. Look out it for a full minute. Write about what you saw. Zombies! Zombies! They are everywhere! I'm so glad we are safe here in our container house, with windows up high, not big enough for anyone to get in through. We are completely closed off from the Zombies, that, as I mentioned, are everywhere. Thanks for reading Misty )O( Blessed Be

The Artist's Eye Os there a painting or sculpture that you are drawn to? What does it say to you? Describe how it makes you feel? I love Starry Night. I like the dark colors and the hints of light that the stars give. I am not sure why I am so drawn to that painting, I have always been. I got lucky and I got my very own Martiss version of it. Painted on wood, hanging in my living room. I love that painting. I love the dark blues and occasional greens. That is my favorite painting. I also love Crests and Family Shields. I love the Olde English curls and frilly but not frilly aspects. I love the strong bold colors there too. I think that I know why I love Starry Night. I love the way that it makes me feel like I could be there under that sky on that hill enjoying that beautiful stars in that beautiful sky. Thanks for Reading, Misty Blessed Be )O(

Planes, trains, and automobiles. You're going on a cross country trip. Airplane, train, bus or car, or something else entirely? Since I have traveled across the country by car, plane, even Greyhound bus, I would like to try a train. I know it means it might take longer to get there, but I could pretend I was on the Hogwart's Express. And don't think that I wouldn't, either. Embarrassment to my companion(s) be dammed! I hate to say it, but... YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE! Thanks for reading Misty )O( Blessed Be
