Have not had soda since Sunday night, until this morning... I broke down and bought one, because today is our cheat day...

One sip in and I do not like the taste any more, however, Robert said it tasted off to him, so that is not a total determining factor.

The thing is, I wanted to do this FOR SCIENCE... because yesterday I got up and stepped,and I had energy to spare most of the day, late into the night (if you saw our nonsensical posts last night, you know!) So, the plan was, get up and step today, get a soda, see how the day went...

Soda hurts my tummy, makes me gassy (shhh, don't tell), also, I was tired with in 30 minutes of the first drink, and of course, it made me more thirsty, for water, because soda does not quench the thirst...

Also, and this is a big one... I had a hard time breathing again. I have been fine most of the week, and the being winded was getting better as each day passed, but one soda, and my whole life is falling apart... My  kids all dropped out of school and hate me, my wife left me, I got fired... OK, not really those things, but, I can see why soda is bad... SODA BAD...

Also, I only drank 4 ounces, and I threw it away... Wasteful, but not.

Do you believe in reincarnation? That is a tough one, but very funny that it is 'assigned' on the anniversary of my first marriage... I think that there are different versions of things all through life, stages. So, there are different stages of relationships, the honeymoon, the comfort zone, and finally, using the toilet with the door open... For example. Why can't there be different phases or stages of life? Once a scrounger, always a scrounger

Robert's last day of freshman year is next a Wednesday, that alone is crazy, but it made me remember something. The last day of my freshman year, I actually wanted to go to school. I said good bye to the teachers I liked, but after that, a friend of mine and I went through the halls, and came upon tons of lockers that people had not bothered to clean out... So there were binders and paper and more all over for the taking. I remember lots of loose leaf paper, and I took home as much as I could carry. Now, was that because I am, at heart, a scrounger? Or was it my love of school and office supplies? When I was in 6th grade, same thing, went to the last day, and came home with 'stuff'. However, this time it was supplies AND art projects people had not taken home, including GIANT dice.
