Last night my wife and I went to blue eagle on date night because we did not have the baby. I was not sure what I was looking for but she found me a mortar and pestle and I was happy to see it so I am assuming I needed it. I also got some stickers and some incense but mostly the mortar and pestle. When I got home, I was not really sure what I was going to do with it, and then she suggested that I use it to ground the spices that I use in that health drink that I take. She's a freaking genius once again LOL and grab the stuff and I put it in its own jar. I was not able to add the honey apple cider vinegar and lemon because the big jars were either full or dirty. this morning I was able to get one of the clean doors out of the dishwasher and use it to make my drink. it is amazing what a difference it makes. It's not like drinking dirt water anymore. I like the taste before but now I really like it because it's not hard to stomach. this morning I showed it to Robert who wa

This morning I started to make an "Energy Trio" in a spray bottle for spraying around a room for the house. Then I thought "so, it would be nice if I give it to my mom".   She needs help with her energy etc. but then all I can hear is all of the resistance she would give "oh, well it's got oil it's not good to spray around your lungs or your furniture" or whatever.   It's very frustrating that no matter what I try to do to help her, she resists. A good example is last night when she was asking me to scan a paper and when I was telling her that it could be done and how to send it on as an attachment, she fought me at every turn. It's like she wants me to actually do it for her, which I did offer her and she resisted that too…   It's more like she wants to be able to say she's asked for help and nobody will help her "pee wah poor me"

Feburary 6th 2019 - Last Night

Last night Luna slept in her big girl bed. So I slept in my room. It was nice and I am less sore this morning, so I guess that's a good thing, but also miss waking up next to my wife. It's also nice to have my room to get ready in in the morning but again I miss my wife.    Another one of the problems is that she smokes in the room, and I'm not going to tell her not to, however we'll see how I feel after a few days of sleeping in the room where there was no smoke.   Also, we just bought super cool new sheets and stuff and I want to share them with her, so who the fuck knows what I'm going to do!

This weekend Luna and I made tons of cool stuff. Friday night she, Heather, and I went to Sprouts and I spent a pretty penny on some essential oils and carrier oils. It was lots of fun but I definitely should have brought my readers! It was a little nerve-wracking being there, I kind of felt out of place.   Saturday morning, Luna and I made tons of stuff. We made three rollerball recipes for us. One is for an energy boost, the other is to fight fatigue, one is for vitality, and I made one for Marie for seasonal affect disorder. Then, we also inventoried are oils and made a stop snoring spray for me. I also bought some large mouth quart blue ball jars. There were four in the package so I have made my health drink ahead, so all I have to do is grab & go. We also got rid of some more dishes. Mostly we just had fun. She has been teething pretty hardcore so that has made her rather grumpy.   I cleaned out her vaporizer really well, and I put some fresh water and lavender

Yesterday I forgot to bring my health drink to work and let me tell you, I felt it too. I did drink it when I got home last night after work and I really do feel like that made a difference in my night.   Today, I remembered to bring my drink only to discover that my jar is cracked from when I put honey that was way too freaking hot in it. tonight Heather and I are going on a Saver's date. So hopefully I'll be able to find a another one. however, I will totally look at home first to see what we have in the pantry and in the shelves, because as the model for 2019 is no more waist, I cannot justify buying something if I had something at home that will work.    on that note, when we were cleaning out all of the closets I did find that wooden photo album that Tony made for me all those years ago. I had not planned on saving it, however it dawned on me that it would make a really nice book for my tried-and-true recipes for my home apothecary. I asked Heather if she wou

Today is the third day of drinking The herbal concoction that my co-workers told me about. Yesterday I started to add apple cider vinegar to the mixture. That made it actually tastes better than the first day. However, today I added too much cayenne, and probably a little too much apple cider vinegar. It's very strong. I have watered it down 3 times now and it is still very strong. I will finish it though it actually counts is almost half of my water for each day so I'm not going to give it up.   I have also started writing these herbal remedies and uses on the library cards that I got when I went to the teaching store while we were in Denver. This is a nice little use for them, and it Sparks joy and I touch these things now LOL   I also started working on trying to de-junk the house. I started with my closet and drawers on Monday night. Tuesday night I worked on the linen closet. The plan being to get the linen closet cleaned out so that we can actually put all of th

Last Sunday night, I got an email about setting up a home apothecary. It was an ad obviously, however I went to the page and I downloaded the free guide. Then this Sunday I went to the store and I bought some of the ingredients. I bought the stuff to make a health drink that my co-workers told me about , I bought the stuff to make a rubs for your feet and chest when you have a cold, and I bought the stuff for a congestion and cough remedy . Last night I put the shelf back up in the kitchen so that I could have all of my stuff in one area. The shelf is uneven, even after Heather helped me put it up. I have added some of the recipes that I put in a binder in page protectors. I also went through my other books with ideas in them, and pulled out anything that looked like it could be for the home apothecary.   My goal in 2019 is to waste less, whether it is from bringing my own bags to the store - which I forget to do 95% of the time so far this year - or it is making homemade d
