Write about something you normally blog about as if it's a music critique.
Since I usually do these prompts I was going to do it about that, but since I had a near death experience this morning, I'm going to write about that:
The beginning of the walk started out easily enough, with a slight breeze in the opening to invite the listener to the ride.
As we walk up Copper, the breeze is a bit stronger, but it blows the listeners hair around a bit too much, so that later, a ponytail holder will be required.
Once you reach Eubank, the slight hill is enough to make any listener wish for a Hover-around. This only increases when the listeners son takes the hill like it's nothing, and leaves the listener behind.
You reach the first light, and have to deal with people who stop in the cross walk in their efforts to see if it is safe to turn into on coming traffic. You eventually make across that street, but t requires you to go around some cars, don't forget to shoot daggers at those that make you play this musical cross the street death game. It doesn't really help, but it feels good and is better than slamming your hands down on their car hoods.
The next street you come to, you have not only the walk signal, but the cars wanting to turn left onto the freeway have a RED arrow. This will not deter the jack-hole in the mustang that will run the red arrow and nearly hit you. You as the listener will be startled, because you were looking for traffic coming legally from the other direction. When the driver stops and waves for you to go ahead and cross the street (hey thanks, do I have your permission to breath too?) you will be confused, pissed and what the fu*k all at the same time. You, as the listener, (almost forgot the premiss of this blog) will reach your destination just in time to catch the early bus.
So, all in all, the Bus Stop walk song has a strong ending, however, you, as the listener, did flip off the Mustang driver. Not only did he almost hit you, he gives Mustangs a bad name!
Thanks for reading
