I am a fan, of football, of the Cowboys more precisely. The reason that I am is simple - My dad was and I did not have many things that we could share, but that was one.

I do enjoy going to live sporting events, and if the weather is right ( I almost died from heatstroke at a high school football game, so not that...) then I can get into pretty much anything. I think that it is about the crowd and the routing and the joint effort of all of those on this side against all of those on that side... I even enjoyed a hockey game once. I guess somethings are better live!

Back to football... Back to the Cowboys... I feel close to my dad every time on watch a game, every time I put on my jersey, or wear my lanyard. Also, football season is the best! People you don't know will smile and talk to you because you have one a jersey, and so do they. It is out there that, " hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but you're a Cowboys fan, and I like the Broncos."...ok, that went off course.

During football season, people come together, even of it is only to trash talk.

There is a delivery guy at my work, Giants fan... We give each other so much sh*t during football season in the halls, but I smile every time he says "Misty G!" when we see each other. I don't know his name, but I made a 'football friend'.

How long till football starts again? Is it too early to make a countdown chain?

Do you believe in reincarnation? That is a tough one, but very funny that it is 'assigned' on the anniversary of my first marriage... I think that there are different versions of things all through life, stages. So, there are different stages of relationships, the honeymoon, the comfort zone, and finally, using the toilet with the door open... For example. Why can't there be different phases or stages of life? Once a scrounger, always a scrounger

Robert's last day of freshman year is next a Wednesday, that alone is crazy, but it made me remember something. The last day of my freshman year, I actually wanted to go to school. I said good bye to the teachers I liked, but after that, a friend of mine and I went through the halls, and came upon tons of lockers that people had not bothered to clean out... So there were binders and paper and more all over for the taking. I remember lots of loose leaf paper, and I took home as much as I could carry. Now, was that because I am, at heart, a scrounger? Or was it my love of school and office supplies? When I was in 6th grade, same thing, went to the last day, and came home with 'stuff'. However, this time it was supplies AND art projects people had not taken home, including GIANT dice.
