FROM A TO Z
Create a short story, piece of memoir, or epic poem that is 26 sentences long, in which the first sentence begins with "A" and each letter there after begins with the next letter of the alphabet.
Alas, dear friend, I have missed you too often. Be sure that the next time that you are on this planet, I will make time to see you. Chances are that I will be standing in this stupid line for hours more. Do I always forget that this store sucks. Every time I shop here I think that things will be different. Forgetting that it never will. Good thing that it is early in the morning and could be a lot worse. How the heat dictates my moves this time of year. I cannot stand to be outside in this suffocating misery. "Just be glad it's not that humid." I tell myself. Kidding myself each time, because dry heat or humid heat, 95 degrees is flipping hot. Living on the moon I think would be ideal, it can't be that hot up there! My ideal living arrangement would involve never traveling out of a refrigerated area. Not even to go from my vehicle to the store, or the vehicle to the house.
Oh my, I took my daughter out to lunch and it is hot outside. Please tell me why it can't be October already. Quit being so hot, Albuquerque.
Really, I don't know why it is worse than normal this year? Seriously though, I ask that every year. To the chagrin of my loved ones.
Unusually high temperatures are nothing new in this town. Very hot summers are par for the course. Why do I live here? Xylophones sound funny. You understand I had to do that, I'm sure? Zebras are black and white.
