Eat, Drink and Be Merry
for tomorrow we die. The world is ending tomorrow! Tell us about your last dinner - the food your companions, the setting, the conversation.


Well, that is tough. I want to say that I would spend it with family, but alas, not all of them. I think that I would say, on the best day, with all best moods, attitudes and behaviors intact, it would be grilling in the courtyard with my wife and kids, and then fire time. With laughter and s'mores to close the page on our time on this planet, not a bad way to go, right?


I bequeath this blog to the world, in order to make it a better place.

Do you believe in reincarnation? That is a tough one, but very funny that it is 'assigned' on the anniversary of my first marriage... I think that there are different versions of things all through life, stages. So, there are different stages of relationships, the honeymoon, the comfort zone, and finally, using the toilet with the door open... For example. Why can't there be different phases or stages of life? I have heard one theory of reincarnation, being that you live this life to learnt, and in the next life, you learn what you didn't get in the last life. Once a scrounger, always a scrounger

Robert's last day of freshman year is next a Wednesday, that alone is crazy, but it made me remember something. The last day of my freshman year, I actually wanted to go to school. I said good bye to the teachers I liked, but after that, a friend of mine and I went through the halls, and came upon tons of lockers that people had not bothered to clean out... So there were binders and paper and more all over for the taking. I remember lots of loose leaf paper, and I took home as much as I could carry. Now, was that because I am, at heart, a scrounger? Or was it my love of school and office supplies? When I was in 6th grade, same thing, went to the last day, and came home with 'stuff'. However, this time it was supplies AND art projects people had not taken home, including GIANT dice.
