Tattoo…You?

Do you have a tattoo? If so, what is the story behind your ink? If you do not have a tattoo, what  might you consider getting emblazoned on your skin?

I have a tattoo on my left ankle that says ARG WAS HERE. My ex husband wrote that on my shoe on our first date. Then, three days after I got that tattoo, I found out he had a threesome with some of our friends... No kidding.

After a few days I decided to get past it and move forward, so I went, with two of the people he slept with, who happened to be 'our friends' to get another tattoo that is supposed to say peace/forgiveness on my right calf... When my son was four, a few years later, he asked me why my leg said VD (because looking at that tat side ways, it totally looks like VD!) I said to him because I am glad that is the only VD I have from your daddy... It's true too...

Now, this is one of my favorite stories to tell, not sure why, because I am the one that got cheated on, and that was not the first or last time either, and I feel stupid for being cheated on, and staying, so many times... But I am not the one whose character is lacking because of the cheating, he is. Now, staying as long as I did, that was a character flaw of mine, but everything happens for a reason, and I like where I am now, so I have moved on, and I would like to think that I have moved on and learned from things.

Health   -   I see the internist on the 8th, and hopefully I will get my clearance to get my surgery that day. Head is killing me, has been non stop since 5 this morning… One Thing That Scares Me… Lots of things in this time period, but not every day.
