Nob Hill Bar and Grill Nob Hill Bar and Grill is a favorite in the area; however that does not necessarily mean that it is worth your time. It is busy most week nights, and downright packed on weekend nights. There is no doubt that there is a strong, loyal customer base.  The service and food are not the best I have ever had, but they are by no means the worst. I do acknowledge that your reasons for dining anywhere would greatly affect your overall view of the experience. If you are going out for dinner out with friends just for the sake of dinning out, then this could be a good choice. Having a dinner with a significant other? This place would work, as long as the occasion was not something form. Going out for a casual work dinner, sure thing. I expected from more menu choices from this restaurant. Fancy Analysis

Misty  Jennifer  English 1101 126 10 March 2014 The American Dream is different to all of us. In the song that I chose to analyze, Reba McIntyre’s rendition of Fancy, originally sung by Bobbie Gentry, her path starts from poverty, and ends in an elegant New York Townhouse Flat. How she got there is not the path that many of us would choose. Fancy did not even choose the path; it was thrust upon her. In the opening of the song Reba talks about the situation that she came from. It was the summer she turned 18, and she lived in a rundown shack with her family. Her father had abandoned the family, the mother was soon to die, and the baby was going to starve to death. Somehow, she had to make her way in the world. Her mother spent all of the money that the family had to buy Fancy a ‘dancin’ dress’. To me this is equated to how some families go into debt to pay for their children’s education. Misty      Dr. Bennett   Sociology 1101-111   7 April 2014 A Life Well Lived Iris Eileen Allen is a woman who has no regrets in life. She is the wisest person I know and is not afraid to tell you what is on her mind. She was born on June 18 th , 1927 in El Paso County Colorado. She was the second out of ten children born to Clifford Allen and Gladys Hitchcock. She helped raise her younger siblings, as was the way in those days. Her fondest memory of growing up was playing store in the hayloft with her sisters. She enjoyed spending time with all of her siblings, but her sisters in particular. Clifford and Gladys treated all ten of their children equally. They were farmers and Gladys cared for the children. All of them were capable and were required to help with the house and the farm.
