Write about your name. Are you named after someone? Are there any stories associated with your name? If you could change your name would you?
I do not think that I am named after anyone. If I recall, I think that there is a story about how my parents couldn't decide on a name, so my gramma Bishop suggested Misty, but I'll have to get confirmation on that.
There is a song called Misty, and a really messed up movie with Clint Eastwood called 'Play Misty For Me'. There is also a book about a horse named Misty. My sister's boyfriends parents sent it back with her for me. That is how I remember the story? There are more than a handful of people who had told me that their dogs are named Misty. Thanks?
I would not change my name, I love my name. Even though it is a rather 'hick' name, especially when you say my middle name at the same time... Misty Lynn... Yeah that is rather silly, but it is unique enough that you don't run in to it every day, but I have found the occasional item with my name at a souvenir stand! Funny, because I saw a meme last night taking about that!
I don't know if I have become my name or my name just suits me, but I feel like a Misty, so I guess I'll keep it!
