Once a scrounger, always a scrounger

Robert's last day of freshman year is next a Wednesday, that alone is crazy, but it made me remember something. The last day of my freshman year, I actually wanted to go to school. I said good bye to the teachers I liked, but after that, a friend of mine and I went through the halls, and came upon tons of lockers that people had not bothered to clean out... So there were binders and paper and more all over for the taking. I remember lots of loose leaf paper, and I took home as much as I could carry. Now, was that because I am, at heart, a scrounger? Or was it my love of school and office supplies?

When I was in 6th grade, same thing, went to the last day, and came home with 'stuff'. However, this time it was supplies AND art projects people had not taken home, including GIANT dice. It was interesting getting those home, on the city bus and they didn't last long once I got them home.

So, what does this say about me? I like unique objects and office supplies? Could it be that I have always had a need to make sure I would have enough later, by stocking up on what I can now? Or, I like free stuff?

Maybe, probably, it's all three.
