Today's prompt is too much for me to tackle in a day, so I'll do it when I have more time. For today, I'll do tomorrow's.

Fight or flight: when faced with a confrontation do you stay and fight or head for the hills?

I have pretty much always chosen flight. Ever since I can remember this is what I was taught to do. My mom got into a huge fight with her sister at an Embassy Suites in San Antonio, we left in the middle of the night. My mom got into a huge fight when we lived with her sister in McAllen Texas, we moved back to Albuquerque.

I am sure there are more examples that I cannot think of right now... If there are things that have happened in my past to the opposite, I cannot think of them now.

Wait, there is one. My mom was denied an increase on her Sears cad because my dad was behind on payments. My parents were divorced at this time. My mom chewed the hell out of whoever was on the phone with her. Rightfully so, too. So this is an example of fight.

So I have seen both in my childhood, but I still choose flight. I don't like confrontation. Why? Well who really likes it would be my question, and why?
