Freak Friday

I would switch places with the cat. Naps all day and chasing the other cat for fun. Yep, the cat!

Not really the cat. Let's see. Maybe is trade with my boss. It might be easier to know what she needs from me at work, if I knew how her brain worked and what all she faces that I don't see.

On that front, I'd trade with my wife, for the same reasons. And vise versa. And I know that it sounds stereotypical, but I would trade with my daughter, Cara. She needs to see the struggles that she faces if she doesn't finish school now when she is young.

I have to admit, my life is pretty good, I love my job, I am excited about school starting in a few weeks, so honestly, trading lives with my daughter might backfire. However, she would see what it is like to HAVE to work and go to school.

Maybe I would trade with someone who is in power, and is fu*cking it up, and give me a week, I will do what I can to fix it. Probably not a lot in a week, since the whole system is messed up.

I know, totally selfish here. I would trade with someone that works at my mortgage company and has the power to zero out my mortgage and not draw attention to themselves. I would clear my debt and maybe those of some key loved ones in my life, MAYBE. Right now there are not a lot of people that I would 'fake risk jail time for
someone that is not really me', for. LOL

Anyhow, all of those are good ideas, good people to trade with, but getting my house clear and free would be the best in the long run. Then MOST of my paycheck would be mine, and bit*ches, we would be getting new cars!

OK that is it I guess...

Do you believe in reincarnation? That is a tough one, but very funny that it is 'assigned' on the anniversary of my first marriage... I think that there are different versions of things all through life, stages. So, there are different stages of relationships, the honeymoon, the comfort zone, and finally, using the toilet with the door open... For example. Why can't there be different phases or stages of life? Once a scrounger, always a scrounger

Robert's last day of freshman year is next a Wednesday, that alone is crazy, but it made me remember something. The last day of my freshman year, I actually wanted to go to school. I said good bye to the teachers I liked, but after that, a friend of mine and I went through the halls, and came upon tons of lockers that people had not bothered to clean out... So there were binders and paper and more all over for the taking. I remember lots of loose leaf paper, and I took home as much as I could carry. Now, was that because I am, at heart, a scrounger? Or was it my love of school and office supplies? When I was in 6th grade, same thing, went to the last day, and came home with 'stuff'. However, this time it was supplies AND art projects people had not taken home, including GIANT dice.
