These Boots Are Made For Walking.
Tell about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they have taken you.

My favorite shoes were purchased at the Sketcher's store. They were in the sale are, and even then I thought they were too much to spend. $30.00 down from $60.00. After I had my arms twisted, I bought them.

They were black, not dress shoes, but really work shoes. They are work shoes for what I do, I guess that makes them work shoes.

I love these shoes. They were comfortable to we're on my walk to work as well as work.

So as far as where they have taken me, they have taken me to work in style and comfort.

I have worn them for so long that I have warn them pretty much out. That makes me very sad because search as I may, I have never found a pair that is its equal. I have a pair that I bought thinking it would be, but alas, it was not.

I will continue to wear them at work, but because they are not getting any younger, I wi not wear them on the walk into work.

Do you believe in reincarnation? That is a tough one, but very funny that it is 'assigned' on the anniversary of my first marriage... I think that there are different versions of things all through life, stages. So, there are different stages of relationships, the honeymoon, the comfort zone, and finally, using the toilet with the door open... For example. Why can't there be different phases or stages of life? Once a scrounger, always a scrounger

Robert's last day of freshman year is next a Wednesday, that alone is crazy, but it made me remember something. The last day of my freshman year, I actually wanted to go to school. I said good bye to the teachers I liked, but after that, a friend of mine and I went through the halls, and came upon tons of lockers that people had not bothered to clean out... So there were binders and paper and more all over for the taking. I remember lots of loose leaf paper, and I took home as much as I could carry. Now, was that because I am, at heart, a scrounger? Or was it my love of school and office supplies? When I was in 6th grade, same thing, went to the last day, and came home with 'stuff'. However, this time it was supplies AND art projects people had not taken home, including GIANT dice.
